Charles Carpenter’s passion as a composer has been demonstrated in recordings that have received airplay and distribution throughout the USA and Europe. His music has afforded him enthusiastic reviews and special mention in many audiophile publications including High Performance Review, The Absolute Sound and Keyboard Magazine.

Charles has released 5 recordings of art music, which demonstrate a compositional range that runs from blues and rock to microtonal music. He became especially interested in the Bohlen-Pierce tuning system, and is considered one of the most prolific composers in this tuning.
